The cartoon had 3 symbols like a triangle etc. Can't remember the name but the game started with your character by a well and you could go down it or go right where you see a screen with a lot of eyes pulsating. Any know what the game is called?

Where were the triangles? At the start screen? On the box cover?

Also, sega genesis game or a game made by sega for another platform?

Anything else you can give me? Was it an RPG? Side scrolling action game? Horror themed game? Was the main character a human, robot or animal?

When you say triangles i think zelda but that aint sega lol

I can't think of any publishers that had triangles as their logo and I've combed through about a thousand sega game covers and didn't see anything. More difficult than I thought it would be
