So I'm just getting into the game now and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on the best way to make gold (and the best class to do it)?
Really excited cause I played the crap out of GW1 when I was younger. Dunno why I put off playing GW2 for so long.

I would 100% check out the subreddit for advice and guides on how to play.

Not unlike GW1, the most lucrative market is trading. But it takes gold to make gold and this is further complicated by the presence of a trading post and lack of player to player trading.

There isn't farming in the same way as GW1 (nothing like solo UW clears). Its really more about playing group content/ meta events/ running dungeons/fractals/raids to make gold.

There are some areas which are the best, but overall nothing is too out of line at the moment.

Play the class that you find most interesting. They are all be fun/viable in different types of game modes.
