Regarding the LED ram - it's like $20 USD more and my friend enjoys a bit of bling (lol)

I still think the SSD + HDD option is optimal because it is very likely he will need large amounts of storage.

Would of loved to of ohad a bit more guidance on MOBOs but I guess I'll work it out.

What guidance do you want on mobo? 450 is fine if not ocing. Grab RGB if you want on it.
Make sure it has vram sinks since lack of air flow due to single fan in case.
If he needs it get it, you failed to provide us with much details so we can't offer much help tbh.

Would also assume if this is your friend the least you could do is build it.
I mean fuck I don't know or dislike most the people here yet I help for free.
