Looool can't wait for release and it ends up way more popular than retail. Bring on the retail tears. Even the beta numbers alone already showing this.

still gotta pay the sub, and u cant buy tokens with classic gold. so you need retail to avoid paying real money.

and classic will be much more popular than retail for a couple months then sky rocket down like wow always has.

Doubt it skyrockets down quite as fast as bfa or past expansions. You don't realize the since of community classic creates and the amount of time you can gladly put in doing much of nothing.

And with devs talking about possible tbc or future classic content it will be alot more successful then the naysayers would have you believe.

Trust me, you can quote this again 3 months after classic release. We will see where the cards fall.

With honor grinding and pvp gear not being introduced until a later stage, which I am sure is just a business move and not a development one, the population will probably die down by a large scale (guessing 15-25%) post 45-60 days of launch and then rise up again on pvp release for some months and then eventually start thinning out as per usual because as far as I know there's no plans on adding content to the game. Should follow Runescape Classics ways of development. Would be sick.

What paying the sub? Pretty much everyone I've talked to from private servers are perfectly fine paying a sub. They're all pretty much done with the shady private server bs. Would all gladly pay sub if it meant not having to worry about the server randomly shut down and losing all your characters.

As far as blizz caring, I could care less. I'm more addressing the retail people that all kinda want it to fail or don't understand classic in general.

Idk what retail people you are referring to, almost everyone I've talked to, all streamers, all YouTubers who currently still play wow, are all hyped for classic

I think the people who you are referring to that want classic to fail are not the ones who play retail because they also would want retail to fail aswell
