Ya I plan on making sure its sealed this time. Those rope gaskets are a joke man. You have to beat them in and shit but it was all that was available at 2 pm on a Sunday afternoon so I got it in hopes that it would last the summer. It's a 1980 block so it's the 2 piece gasket setup, and now I see why they changed it.

Got it done and tuned in. I'm loving it so far , 500 miles and no issues.

Thanks man. Ya I learned you never know whats going to happen doing rebuilds, especially if you use parts that were on a different motor already. I have been going pretty easy on mine so far, but that 347 moves my little fox body easily and I don't have to get on it to go fast. 2800 rpm is 85 in 5th, barely have to give it any pedal at all.
