giant tresher > tresher > great poleaxe > cryptic axe > colossus voulge

I see there is not the correct answer yet, so here it is:

Giant tresher eth 4 soc 15ed 3ar. Some like 15ed 15dur too.
Best speed and range type.

Thisis a loaded question. And there are many variables involved.

This is ASSUMING its an a2 mec weildling the weapon, and not yet considering the important details, which is wht gear on merc?

A2 merc weilding the best pole arm bases of each of the 3 speeds available.
GT - 77avg dmg * 3.33 hits per second = 256.41 dps
CA - 91.5 avg * 2.77 hit per second = 253.455 dps
GPA - 86.5avg * 3.12 hit per second = 269.88 dps

Must also consider the crushing blow also! Which, imo, wont be much of an advantage, especially at 0% ias. However, crushing blow in most circumsstances, isn't going to be a huge damage boost, except aginst like stone skin spawns or the likes that take a lil extra longer to kill. Or of course, if you are some reason trying to use a mrc on iubers (dont).

Also whenitcoems to GT vs thresher, ther eis only a 0.5 avg damage difference, as the range modifier doens't apply to mercs. It is a better baes yes, that is a fact. The rarity of a 15% ed / 4os eth GT vs a Thresher is astronomical.
Good luck finding one, best bet is to cave and buy one and hope the price is right, or go just 15 ed eththresher if you want this speed weapon.

When you only begin tocrunch numbers on differecnes of what builds you would build arond differnt weapo nbases due to IAS break points, thats when things really start to sway differnet directions.. After reading this post, and doing a little number crunching, I think I'm going to make a rather large thread, and hope some people who know a lot more than me, can come together and actually help get the correct info to the masses. (I'm really starting to question the threasher/threacery/andys/ias setup vs a cv withandys/iasjewel fort when u see hte start of my numbers thoughts, you'll understand where eim coming from)
That said, Irun 80% ias breakpoint on thresher all the time, 35% onj cv, I dont typically use the other optons...
