I'm a noob but just my random thought..

Maybe once u make it to NM, could crushing blow do most of the work??

Was thinking a bow zon with rattle cage and goblins could kick ass with a valkarie and decoy in front of her..

Rattlecage helps with fleeing constantly.
Maybe even add in the helmet with chance to flee on it
50% CB (or more, cant remember) but bow cuts CB effects in half

What physical damage u have + valk could finish the kill off???

At that point u could just use strafe and all other skills would be free for passive skill tree or an actual damage skill..


Please let me know if anyone thinks this wouldnt work in classic (besides the occasional physical immune)

I think cb on ranges weapons is like 1/8 damage or something? On top of that it doesn’t scale with p8 life monster increase. Could be wrong though, let me know! Will finally get to post some screenies tonight, got kind of busy last nigjt

Maybe I will hero edit a char this evening and let u know from expac experience. Not smart enough to edit items, I have to do it on softcore open battle net and then try it in hell.

Gambling long war bows and high dexterity will be important I think. Damage sucks on bows, idk javs side tho

Just tried the Crushing Blow setup i mentioned, Definitely not gonna work....
Did little to no damage at all on Hell P8 (expansion) river of flame

only had 20 (max damage from strafe skill) not sure if CB is based on damage or just the monster itself..

From experience with pure physical damage you waste 100’s of arrows per mob in Chaos p8 lol

Okay so here's where things went wrong. My Diablo was running very slowly. No idea why. 9FPS on single player? Something is wrong. So I started messing around with my video settings and other D2 settings (didn't fix it though)... Continued on to normal Andarial... only to realize that none of the new screenshots I had taken were in my d2 screenshots folder? I guess I must have re-routed them somehow during my screwing around with the settings :/ I'm sure I'll find them somewhere (I hope), but no time now because I have to head into work for a bit. If anyone has any idea what could have happened there, or where the screenshots could be, it would speed up the process of finding them when I get home haha... Would be appreciated.



Edit: I found them, they went to this really obscure, weird, never-seen-before directory. Will post em later... And then I need to figure out how to get them to go back to their normal place when I take screenshots haha
