Yeah, I honestly have zero idea how plausible this even is to be honest, I've played 3 character types in classic before: Sorc, Necro, Barb. Never even touched a zon, and only played two pvm zons in my life on top of that. I really don't care too much if I fail though, it'll be fun to try.

I figured I would take thesnipa's advice and start off mostly physical... I thought maybe I'd just run a max Magic Arrow build for all of normal and NM really... Extra AR/Dmg at zero mana cost is welcome, and it leaves me with extra points for a massive valk and high level dodges and pierce.

I'll probably spend way too long farming NM chaos or whichever area I find to be nice that can drop +2 ama bows... And just try to grind out the best setup I can, then swap to Freezing arrow/Strafe (to keep mana up and for ci) in Hell.

If any zon/classic pros out there can set me up with a better plan, please do let me know. I have zero pride haha rip down my ideas and build me back up stronger.

Freezing/Strafe/Valk is probably your only shot at clearing p8 Hell. I’ve seen from your previous runs you don’t mind grinding for items, but finding a decent Ballista will take ages lol

Ballista is what I want then? I was thinking +2 gothic, shows what I know lol. I've got a couple classic amazon guides Quorra showed me, what a help that guy is, but it seems like they are all based around p1 ;_;

Anyways, it sounds like you may have some idea of what you're talking about... do me a huge favour andpop in once in awhile to tell me how I'm messing up

I know Goom or feanur had a decent setup for classic bowa somewhere. Might be worth checking.

this makes me wanna do a classic WT.. but i have other ones planned.. and play wow... and work out.. and doing a doctorate programme.. one day!

I would like to do barb/zon/nec on classic and the rest on xpac I've started with her and it's already so weak lol, love it!
