Inflammation help can start with your diet

uh huh.. list of anti-inflammatory foods starting now

In that case take ibuprofen every day OP, just bury the problem

That said I never get back pain lifting, only from playing volleyball as of recent (lower right side). Hips might be a little out of whack

Hmmm have you been able to get an mri? I had injured my back in Oct of 2015 and wasn't able to receive an MRI until Aug of 2016, but xrays they couldn't see anything. Are you getting shooting pain down your leg(s) when over working your back?

Just an update, still in pain but i am optimistic about progress

Had an appointment with a rheumatologist finally

MRI will be within next few weeks and they think they have figured it out. Its most likey a condition with a long name that causes inflammation in the spinal joints.

This explains why exercise, stretching isnt helping.

If anyone else has back pain push ur Doc to see a specialist as soon as possible. Feel like 7 months of questions and pain may have been solved in just 45 minutes

I think i can safely get back to the working out!

do they think you have ankylosing spondylitis? or just sacroilitis?
on a side note, I think you mentioned earlier that stretching/mild exercise actually helps, though temporarily. if you havent already found the channel, I recommend "the prehab guys" on youtube, they have a great selection of videos/exercises/stretches for almost any body part. Ive had success trying out some of their stuff when my low back flared up too
