What?

How do you know Sansa wouldn't have done the same if Jon was crowned instead of Bran?

She was about the North being separate since S6 no matter who was the King.

If Jon, the king of the North, became the King of the seven kingdoms, it makes literally no sense for the North to suddenly hate him...

the only 1s who would hate him is the unsullied and the dothrakis

the whole north/wildlings and everyone else would support him 100%

7 kingdoms vs leftover unsullied and dothrakis

+ when they left basicly nothing they can do about jon being king beside hearing about it and coming back and get rekt by superior force

Seems like this line of responses are getting muddled a bit. The responses don't seem to line up directly with the previous comment. Tracing it back to the beginning:

So is anyone else confused as to why Sansa said the North will never bend the knee again when the king of the realms would be a fucking Stark, and when they were pretty freaking ready to bend the knee to Jon?

Sansa bending the knee a Stark King of the 7 kingdoms would be inconsistent with the Northern philosophy for 2 reasons.

1- The North always wanted to be independent. Not connected to the other 6 kingdoms (not above, below or beside).

2- Even if a Stark was elected king at this council, his successor wouldn't have been a Stark (as the council state).

The fact that you think Sansa wanting the North to secede while their is a northern King on the throne makes any amount of sense.

1) No... It's never been "we want to be independent of the rest of the world" it's been "we want a king in the North" or "we don't want to bend the knee to a southern King"

This means that seceding from the 7 kingdoms while a northern King sits on the throne doesn't make any sense

2) moot point as we have no idea what will happen. Bran could live and rule for 1000 years. The Starks could set up a succession line. Or, of they do end up keeping the "Council choice" thing, it is probably not hard to keep the king a stark tbh. But really can't say so not worth really talking about.

If you're being honest and not trolling, I'm glad someone could enjoy it.

100% honest, i thought it was beautiful, so well filmed. Rushed? yes but it was expected so i am not too upset about that at all, it needed to end and they did amazing job imo

Was very emotional ep for me, felt very sorry for Jon, while Sansa left a bitter taste in my mouth and everything else was just perfect

me and my buddy in the same boat, both of us enjoyed it while my other friends not so much

Are you joking....

Sansa wanted to be Queen of the North. Whether it was Jon or Bran on the throne she would have asked. Jon being King doesn't mean the next king will be a Northerner....
