It's not necessary, but I put the X version of the 2600 CPU in, in case you wanted the better cooler and the extra speed.

As for the RAM, I only recommend RAM that is listed on GSkill's tested to work in the motherboard list. Plus, it has lower timings, so it... faster.

its not

also with ryzen higher mhz > than cas timings

2600x is litterally an oc'd 2600

As for ram your paying for those rgb led's

Ya might wanna do some research on the RAM thing. The stuff wouldn't cost more if it couldn't be sold for more.

It has better dies on the sticks, they overclock better, they are generally more stable all around.

/e And its faster.

At his price point he has better things to spend his money on...
