Budget: 800-1000 $CAD
More specific use (what games, what programs): general computer use, light gaming (Path of Exile, CS:GO)
Planned time until purchase: one week, or can hold until next mega deal if one is coming up
Do you need an Operating System?: No
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Would like a boot SSD at least
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: wireless card or wireless adapter (hardwire isnt an option atm)
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: stock
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: No
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): Alberta, T6E 2N9

Note: My budget is upwards of 1000 because I want the computer to last, but my last computer was a i3 3220 and 560ti and lasted me like 6 years perfectly fine.

/e to save money, you could just re-use your current graphics card, but if you have the money I'd suggest getting the 580 or even just the 570 so if you ever decide to play something more demanding, you won't have any problems playing it.

Usually not a type of person to buy prebuilts because they overpriced as fuck, but I seen this ad for a store close to my house https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX75172
checked benchmarks for 5400 vs 2600 and 1060 vs the 580 and both seem comparable. Is there something I'm missing thats bad here because for 850 it seems like a better deal then ordering online. Help is appreciated I have very limited knowledge here, cause prebuilts give fuck all specs for the other parts.

Here a more budget friendly build without the ability to overclock.
Much closer to your prebuilts cost but without all the other sacrifices.
