why does mapping feel so unrewarding?

what's your strategy ? Do you do low level maps with magic find ? Are you doing an elder strategy where you try to sustain a T16 map ? Do you run a full atlas completion and run whateber map you find ? Are you going for some big juicy divinity cards ?

What do you do to your maps ? Do you only alch and go ? Or you juice them up with sextants, profecies, chisels, etc ?

You need to tell more abouit what you're doing so people can help you better

i'm starting maps, currently trying to ramp up, at around t4-t6.
this is my first time ever trying out occultist after the es nerf a while back

I guess i'm trying to save for a 6L es base chest

but for now it's so awkward to play. If my quartz/phase run is down, it's so awkward to clear packs fast

ok, well yeah maps are not really rewarding and you do them for completion. Get up there, choose a strategy and play around it

I'm also playing vortex occultist and I'm surprised by what you're saying, Ive had a 4link for the longest time and didnt have any problem, killed shaper and elder with it

You use cold snap too right ?

But yeah, it's kind of a slow build

yeah it feels slow but honestly doesnt' require much to go far

seems like they nerfed drops of everything really, maps, items, orbs, you name it

i dont know this personally cause i quit on day 3, but my friends say drops of everything have been nerfed

Your friend is retarded.. I found 2 shavs, void battery, 3 of the unique sword that's 1 ex each, and 5 exas last night playing WR for 4-5 hours.

Also got like 37 guardian maps to sell at 25-26 each. About to spec out of guardian maps so I can sustain elder crater tonight..

EDIT: Even got a soul ripper and working on zephi's. Drops are very generous.

it's not the fastest thing around but should 1 shot everything up to at least red with only a 5 link
