It usually doesn’t work like that because of where tower is. One map strat only works for shapes/elder due to it not connecting to any other of the same tiers.
But if you want to sustain, 5 sextant + 3 sac + double beyond.

how does beyond help with map drops?

Its to sustain the currency you'll spend on the maps. If you really want to force map drops, bloodline is better, but you won't get the amount of currency back from that.

Both beyonds and bloodlines are a more multiplier, meaning they don't add packs - you have to sextant for that. Bloodlines will give you a higher chance of getting +1 maps, beyonds gives you 100% more loot and exp.

Also only have tower as the only map of that tier, and none from one above and 2 above
