I have be considering dating a few people at work, but I think it could cost me in the long run? Or cause issues...
Are work place relationships more problematic than most? What do you all think of this type of a relationship?
It can be worth it.
I will say, it helps to not have constant interaction with them and to work a job where you may work in opposite areas.
I feel that space is a crucial part to relationships, I think that if you were to be around each other 24/7 (At work. At home. Etc.)
Things could struggle in the future. Assuming your job is a career in your head. Otherwise if it's a temporary thing, I feel this is less of a problem.
The bad parts.
You need to be at the top of your game in some aspects. Meaning, just be mature and focus on having fun. Always be the bigger person and roll with the punches. If things go sour, things can go bad with dating in the workplace assuming there is a lack of maturity or self control. That could stain your reputation in the workplace depending on what occurs.
Honestly, if you think you can handle it. Hey, why not.
I agree with the others.
