in case you guys thought their PM wearing a hijab would be the high water mark, big fat NOPE
1:30 PM they will be broadcasting an islamic call to prayer over the national radio, followed by 2 minutes of silence. It will include the Shahada, 'There is no god but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.'

and just last october before any of this attack stuff, they removed references to Jesus from their parliamentary prayer
http://www.prayeratparliament.org.nz/default.asp?iID=GEMIJM&item=GFMIIM

So within the span of just 5 months, New Zealand went from holding christian prayers in parliament to broadcasting the Shahada to everyone's house.

they are really careful to not make the shooters concerns seem factutal in order to to avoid further rAdIcAlIsAtIoN

it seems NZ gov are on the same page with the shooter on that accelerationism

Ok, it's starting to get ridiculous:

I can forgive them breaking with the secularization of their parliament for a one-off gesture of solidarity.
I'm not thrilled about the PM wearing a hijab, which is the symbol of the political islam and the oppression of women in the muslim world, but Ardern's intention clearly was not an affirmation of the hijab itself.

But now they even send police to a mosque to get "lectured" on islam?!

There's a difference between "showing solidarity" and "acting servile". NZ is starting to cross this line...

I think the parliament "breaking" secularization is more negative than the cops going there. The parliament is a symbol of values of the country. Both are pretty much photo-ops to show solidarity and reassure muslims that they are welcomed in NZ. I don't think the cops in this picture are going to learn very much in such a short amount of time.

It's unfortunate that America has a such a strong and pervasive gun culture.

Unfortunate for criminals, rapists and the democrats that idolize the white supremacists they pretend to hate.

Most are. Education and media is all crazy left, if you actually somehow manage to develop critical thinking skills along the way you move right. *highfive.

It's not about them learning anything in this short amount of time, it's about the notion that the police has to be lectured on "the true™ Islam" in the first place.

Why am I not surprised about your defeatist attitude? If Jihadists came to your town, you'd welcome them with a white flag and beg them to go easy on your butthole.

Honestly it seems scary but for the very few i know it has some advantages, it's solid stuff.

/e what i means is your reaction seems pretty weak, this is like diplomacy; even if things are rude it's always better to keep the contact.

Video below is ironic, but just keep in mind the "do you want to know more ?"

My atheist self thinks is no true Islam just like there is no true Christanity. Heck, there is no true "insert anything" when it comes to ideas and concept which have a lot of people who adheres to them. There is bound to be diverging opinions within groups "because people is people."

I don't think it is that bad because I'm sure the Imam and congretation at this mosque spoke of living in harmony and forgivenes and whatnot. I've seen commrnts made by some of their members and they were positive thoughts. I still think that this whole thing won't have a big effect on policy over there besides anti-terrorist policies being revisited as it is often the case after such events.
