Flying airplanes on this - reach rank III - get
250-325 forum gold.
Estimated playtime: 4-6h
U get to keep account and progress.
Pm or post and ill send an invite.
Free to play.
Looks like this:
(arcade montage)
Timeframe: none, but if u do it quick (within a week from now) ill add 50 forum gold. +75 forum gold if done within 2 days from now.
Estimated playtime: 4-6h is the average for new players. Spent thousands on this, about 250-300 services done, and this seem to be the common time it takes after looking at the player cards.
Can be done more than once.I dont play tanks or boats on there, flying is more fun, and a bit faster.
Additional info that may be good to know for new players:
1. There is a
zone for newcomersAt the beginning, before 100 fights, or a 3.0 rated vehicle is reached - new players play against other new players and bots.
After that u will be thrown out with the rest of the players
if u want to reach rank III as fast as possible its good of course to stay in the beginner zone for a longer time (staying below/not yet buying a 3.0 vehicle)
there is a (boring) tutorial u get some eagles from, & with the eagles from the invite u can
get 1 day premium acc that 100% research speed.
If u want to have a main account however, i recommend saving the eagles for an extra crew slot to take on your favored nation. Eagles are not so common in freetoplay, but they can be earned. From daily log in-wagers, invites, tournaments, some eagle app, and probably missed something... the top squadrons each "season" gets a good chunk of eagles too for all their members. Some winners sending in to the weekly video contest also get some eagles. Maybe something else.
The matchmaker goes after battle rating. There is a number on each vehicle that is a measure of its battle performance.
It will match u with/against max +1.0 rating higher than your own lineup.
It goes from 1.0, 1.3, 1.7, 2.0, 2.3, 2.7, and so forth
If your top three vehicles (air arcade, i assume its the same in ground arcade) - are 1.7, 1.3, 1,0, your lineup is rated 1.3. It goes down max 1 step from your highest vehicle.
1.7, 1.7, 1.3 = your lineup is 1.7, and will play against other players up to 2.7 rated lineup (up to 3.0 rated vehicles)
1.7, 1.7, 1.7 = 1.7
2.0, 1.7 1.3 = 1.7
2.0, 1.7, 1.7 = 2.0
crew slots & crew expif u click a vehicle in a slot, and then crew --> go to qualification --> buy expert
u get better crews with faster reload speed etc. on that vehicle. cheap early on.
The first few points I usually take in +1 reload speed, weapon maintenance (weaponry then have less probability to jam from overheating), stamina for more recovery rate and stability while shooting, and pilot vitality.
RanksRank 1, 2, 3 etc are just an indication of the era of a vehicle. Its not really significant unless for this where i pay for reaching rank III of course, or doing wagers which have some rank- requirements to finish.
To reach rank II, unlock three rank 1 aircraft and begin the research of a rank II aircraft. To reach rank III: Unlock and purchase 6 rank II aircraft and begin the research of a rank III aircraft. don´t have to finish the research of the rank III for the service to be done if u don´t want.
Again from what i have noticed, tank players take longer to reach rank III than pilots, even new ones vs tank players that come from WoT and do really well in them. I think last who played tanks took 8hours playtime to reach rank III where first time pilots usually do it in 4-6hours on average. But there is no rush of course and if u like it anyway i guess it doesnt matter. Can be done faster as well, down to ~2-2.5hours or so.
full arcade match. 24-0: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dKFSGSPugMRealistic mode with some commentary:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90qbKB-oRss#t=4m10s(in realistic u cant reload your weapons in air, gotta go land for that. Flaps, gear and wings break at high speeds, the physics and damage models are different, more realistic, pilot blacks out easier, only 1 plane into battle, engine overheats if u go full power too much, and so forth. Also there is no lead indicator of where to shoot/showing in what direction an enemy plane is going. There is also a good flight simulator on there, but its a bit tough to fly for new people i suppose.
