all she had to say was her emotions got the best of her and she is sorry for the unintentional disrespect and pain caused to those upset by the words

there is strength in sincere apologies and accountability and the maturity to not double down but change course when a person has made mistakes

it's an unnecessary comparison and a disrespectful one but it's not one she couldn't have moved on from

A difference between the right and the left is the left's embracing of emotion and compassion politically which I of course think there is plenty of room for in politics but as mentioned in the tweet she didn't exam the people that felt disrespected or harmed by her comparison she searched for confirmation bias and excuses. Something she and the left can work on in the future imo

GOP shit the bed by not working with Obama on healthcare reform and stating their number one goal was making the president of the United States fail.

Well has been poisoned....better probably....whenever the parties work together you get a fucking Iraq War or lose Glass-Steagull Act and have the market crash on less than ten years due to problems that law addressed...

They are probably better in conflict to temper each other than work together to create shit like HMOs and housing bubbles.

See, it's this kind of narrow minded thinking that dominates our political landscape. Each side's only agenda is to railroad the other side..... This has been going on since we've have organized gov't.

It's more important for the other party to fail than it is for either party to succeed and improve america. No Obama bullshit, Bush bullshit, Trump this, whoever that.
