it's impossible to reach the 2 FPS strafe breakpoint. the gercalc uses the client's calculations to render the animation, but the server calculates things differently.

Much appreciated. I learned about the 2APS speedbug, and have settled on 3. Doing that, max speed with a [10] bow requires something negligible like 18ias, which is just groovy.

well with a [10] bow and a level 15 fanaticism you would of course already be at the 3 fps breakpoint. unless i goofed, the table for a [10] bow and 15 fana should look like this:



so as you can see at the total (for 10 arrows), you barely gain anything from getting more gear ias, just a couple of frames.
no other breakpoints after the 83 one because of the EIAS limit
