Is it worth it to upgrade from 1080p 24" 144 hz to 27" 2k 144 Hz?

Is the difference noticable

I'm about to upgrade my pc. Shouldn't have any problem handling 2k.

I mean the question sounds silly but I hear shit all the time about noticing the difference on things like audio, and other technology and it really isn't that big of a difference.

This isn't audio... thing is most people can't even distinguish good audio when they hear it anyways.
This is about a sharper image and large field of view. Most games don't lock screen view and so the higher the res the larger the actual viewing area.
Here's an old image to give you an example (I use multiple displays and achieve the same effect when in surround mode).

Also refer to this to get an idea of how much more area you will see..

Honestly I have no real suggestion.
I'm not huge on reviewing monitor specs.

Goals should be IPS / 2k / 144hz / under 5ms.

This appears to be cheapest but idk about it cause IPS usually is at least 5ms.

If you can find it for sale, 1440p 144hz ips freesync. Used to be like 300 usd, out of stock most places tho now. I have it and like it a lot, just gets hard to power some times, and I'm rocking a 1070ti ftw.

cause a 1070 is mid range last year.
and 2k at 144hz is far more demanding.
