btw I haven't save and exited so I could always close game with task manager. I'm a pnb necro can anyone think of any reason not to use the Lo rune for anything besides merc fort?

If you could, tell us what made the difference.

I have decided to try singleplayer since I play sporadically and I want a "forever character" that I can come back to at any given time.


I tried the runes.txt method in every directory that Diablo 2 was in - as per the guide in the forum - and I could not make insight or edge or anything else.

well that escalated quickly

so the only thing I can think is when I was downloading the text document I was just saving it and then placing it in the data - global - excel folder rather than downloading it and saving it directly in the the data - global - excel folder. I did also change the start up from -direct -txt to the reverse of -txt -direct
