so ive been getting like 50-60% packet loss on my game im playing which is causing super bad stuttering is this a internet or router issue? router right? if so how do i go about fixing such issue never had problems with this till high winds knocked out our power other day and now ive been seeing really bad packet loss it goes away then comes back in few seconds

Wireless or wired?
Modem and Router separate or combo?
Yours or ISP provided?
Do you have another router you can test with?
Does it happen when plugged directly into the modem? (If wired)
Dial-up/Satellite/DSL/Cable/Fiber

These is so many factors that add context to the issue...

The most likely culprit, is an issue at the NID your ISP uses whether that is one attached to your house, or on a pole, chances are good after the storm things happened.

If you really really really want a super detailed breakdown, we can go that route, but a quick call to your ISP will likely get you up and going once a tech comes out.
