Some advice I agree with, others I don't, since I have solo'd to 101 on Hardcore Guardian.
He is going to use 60 strength charm, mainly to counter increased Vitality & Intelligence.

Once you have done your first run and get a feel for some things, make some slight adjustments,
Maybe less int and more strength, maybe different armor but leave everything else the same, there
could be a number of things.

I would go a little further into both vit and int and use a str or str/Int charm in main slot. Put the heal in R. Use at least one ability that charges on hit taken IMO, since at these levels you’ll spend a good amount of time healing yourself while getting hit (retribution is a good choice for feeder).

I’d recommend saving your damage ability charges through 1-2 normal mob spawns and using them as soon as you identify a caster in 3 mob spawns since you are wearing heavy armor. Before you finish killing the last mob, use him to heal to full. You could also whistle lvl 1 to do this, but you’ll miss some retribution charges that will keep you safer for the next wave. Alternatively, you could whistle the lowest level that will reliably give you charges so you can gain them while recovering life.

Remember... kill the casters first! Heavy armors are better than all other types when there are no casters on screen

Oh right, and use 3 abilities. Two is fine for whistle or w/e but 3 allows you to save charges for the crazy spawn on the next step in explore
