I would rather pay to play a game and have cool mtx than pay $40+ for a single fucking mtx set.
Not to mention you need to spend like $20 at start anyway if you actually want a stash tab and to be able to trade.

You realize that there about 10000 companies that will charge you for the game then charge for you the MTX's as well right?
Plus all the gear in PoE doesn't look bad at all, you complete achievements every season and during promotional periods and they give you free MTX's. You can trade without premium stash tabs it's just inconvenient.
