im sure you dont need to stack unless playing vs cold mastery or conviction

vs cold yes, vs conv it helps. no other skill or attack lowers your res in any way at lvl 30 or lower.

150 cold resist is helpful vs blizz but there are no good blizzers on ladder
150 light resist is helpful vs v/t in 4v4 games but is useless 1v1 since v/t loses to every serious build

not sure what the average -res is for a lvl 30 pally but that # + 75 would be the total stack you'd need vs fire/light, then add ~70 for cold because of mastery
