How do you earn v bucks besides paying?

I noticed my first game was 20vs20 but I thought the game was 100 players and everyone against everyone?

Are there different maps or just the one for battle royale?

All those skins are item shop skins. Only way to get them is to wait till they show up in the shop again then purchase them with vbucks.

You can earn vbucks by purchasing Save The World and grinding daily and special challenges that earn vbucks, as well as a weekly login vbuck prize.

You were probably playing Team Rumble. It's two teams of roughly 20 but first team to 100 eliminations wins. Stats do not count toward your profile, though.

There is only one map, but it tends to change as each season goes on. Large changes sometimes happen when a new season starts.
