Sweet dude! Does this mean like, first semester in university/college?

I hope you retain your excitement by the end of the program too!

What are your personal interests/reasons for choosing software development?

Is your course from 1993? Mainframes are relics.

Whoever is in charge of these has completely lost touch with the market. Mainframe Programming Emphasis is a complete waste of time and money. Do not do this unless you hate yourself.

Personally, I would do Webpage Development Emphasis Option because it will give you some hands on experience with a database/MySQL which is useful and JavaScript which is a big market trend right now for better or worse. If you like mobile that is fine too and if you don't love programming after all just get into the business side of things with the business and account courses in Approved Emphasis Option Elective Courses.
