All my controllers get same problem ...
The joystick start acting weird , its either left joystick that respond badly when i try to move forward
Or right joystick that keep aiming in one direction and respond really slow on opposite direction
Once the little white plasitc disc with copper (part of joystick mechanism) start breaking i do change it and it just dont last till the end of the day ... buy a new controller and the new controller last 2 month before pissing me off

Is there any kind of controller that work with ps4 that live longer?

Or is xbox controller more reliable in the long run !?

Or should i just buy a bit of gasoline and set the console on fire 🔥

same
im assuming this guy is trolling "light the conosle on fire" "xbox more reliable" has some red flags leading me to think hes a fanboy troll
but if you arent trolling and have went through that many controllers id reccomend not pushing as hard because its gotta be something you are doing to cause it

lol wtf
where are you buying them?try a different location maybe that place is selling fake controllers or something idk man thats crazy

and the funny thing is i had issues with my ps 3 controllers
after a while there was a rubber pad inside that would compress and the ribbon it supported would start messing up becasue it wasnt 100% touching
and when you move the analog sticks it would do random ass shit like press square or triangle ect ect i ended up fixing it with electrical tape and have had no issue since though

Like all things that see heavy use
They eventually need maintenance/repairs/replacing
Controllers are only good for “x” amount of miles before they eventually start to wear out
Maybe your controllers were cheap chinese knock offs
Or youre just too rough with them
Ive had more issues with launch/day 1 controllers vs newer models

I have a older style red controller where when i play first person shooters with it, i basically cant use it because the left analog stick doesnt respond accordingly
To run i have to press and hold down on the L3 stick whereas with my PS4 pro controller i just have to tap L3 to sprint

I’m the same way with controllers. Regular PS4 controllers last 2-3 months before the right stick is broken when playing FPS games.

Buy a scuf controller

3 of my friend had same issue with scuff

Even more frustrating considering the price they go for

Never had issue with ps3 controller in like 4 years
No issue with ps2 and psx
The first xbox console had the most reliable controller i known conserong they flew couple times straight into the wall
So far the only fix i got is buy a new controller every 2-3 months

I’ve gone through 4 PS4 controllers before switching and haven’t had a single issue. Which scuf did they use?
