At twice the rate, cause he wasn't trying to sell me anything. People do it all the time, they say, 5fg for no spam after mentioning something completely unrelated or an iso of their own. After 30k posts and a few hundred thousand trades I'm pretty sure I can tell when someone is doing it.

Except the supply and demand of the market has people trading for 2-3 per igg, if that wasn't the case you'd see people selling for 1:5, do we see that? No we don't, and nothing has changed, it's still just as dead as it was last year in this particular subforum.

So theres actually noone selling igg at any rate in this thread right now that I can see. all of the "selling" threads have been inactive for nearly a week.

historically you'd be correct - when there was supply. But as supply dwindles and demand is still present, prices go up. Even now theres buy orders for more than the ratio of 2-3 you listed due to the low supply.

GL, im sure people will dump their gold on here if prices rise high enough - pretty easy farming gold doing fractals and farming the profitable bosses daily.



I could be wrong, but if you're counting 100 gems as 125fg (since they cost ~$1.25 to buy), and 100 gems only buys you 21g, wasnt that guys 5:1 pretty on point since 21 igg x 5 = 105 fg?

Also - he wasn't posting an iso in your thread, he was offering 5:1 with a justifying prelude that you misinterpreted, and seemingly are continuing to misinterepret, as an iso - which is why me and recon were so amused by your response.

The price of igg is based on irl currency and there's far too much of it in circulation for the ratio to change much on here. If you calculate the fg to irl to gems ratio you'll see it's comes up to about the same value across the board.
Last time I made a thread it took a few days and I don't mind waiting for someone to log on and see it. If it seems like I don't have the patience for troll offers it's cause I don't, having the iso of someone else as first response of my paid thread was not the goal.
