ive been streaming for a year now with no problems on OBS but recently started streaming Apex Legends.
it was fine the first day i streamed it no issues or jumpyness.
now on OBS the screen is just super laggy and doesnt seem to be able to "keep up" and drop frames
i have tried lowering bitrate, changing from screen to game capture. changing a bunch of setting in game to lower CPU % and nothing is working.
anyone have any advice?

Have u checked your temps when it happens? I recommend HWmonitor for that

Maybe try a system format or a good old cleaning for dust

hows your actual Internet speed been?

its been fine, nothing out of the normal.
10 ping, 335 download, 15.89 upload

I just start motoring temps/cpu usage/ and network.
things don't just break over night. I doubt its a thermal issue as it would of been evident the first day imo.

i updated a random driver and cleaned and dusted my computer, not sure what did it but something fixed it.
i usally dust my comp every month should i be doing it more often?

tbh I clean my pc's every 6-12 months.
Its probably related to the driver if anything.
