with an overclock no, the 1060 should be fine.

Ok Thank you.

I was looking at this card, but it seems much cheaper than other 1060s, and I haven't figured out why yet. It has good reviews though.

Other than clock speed, memory, and fan reliability, what else should I be on the lookout for on these cards?

that's a pretty good deal. I think zotac is known more to have higher temps so ppl dont suggest it really. but that 1060 should be fine

What's considered higher temps? I figured it should be good with 2 fans. But I have like a total of 6 or 7 fans in my case not including my gpu as it is right now. So airflow should be good

nothing unsafe.. like a gtx 960 zotac in the past would push 70 - 80ish degrees while other cards be about 60 - 65

for instance as you can see on newegg that zotac requires a 8 pin and other cards require a 6 pin

so if u dont mind that then it's not a problem. cards can safely draw like 90 degrees but wares them out more quickly

If the card can last 2 years with no issues, then I guess I would consider that a win.

My psu comes with 2x 6+2 pin set up I believe, so I would probably just have to clip the other 2 pin sockets together. My current card I know is 6 pin, so I'll have to double check the set up for sure

Main reason(s) Zotac is less expensive is slightly worse coolers and shorter warranty. For the most part, they are fine.
