Hey everybody! I want to share with you folks a project I have been working on with a few friends for sometime now.

Its a work in progress and we are a team of 3 people therefore everyone has to put on multiple hats (roles we are often not good at!). Its been a crazy roller-coaster so far despite its
mild look right now. A TON of what we tried isnt on display here. I.e we started off with horror survival elements, switched into a full fledged puzzle game and spent a TON of time on that
and in our latest and final iteration we have decided to go forward with a walking simulator approach with an emphasis on visual narrative.

This is the first of a series of devlogs that I will be making as we make progress through the project. Creative criticism, suggestions etc are welcome as always.

Also want to take this post as a way to reach out to any game devs on jsp with who I can connect with!

Developer log #2. I talk about the importance of creating a block level for the game. This helped us visualize the world and get an idea of scale and spacing in our map.

While it might seem trivial to some people, for me personally this was a big learning moment because prior to this point I have always worked on super simple mobile tap/swipe game where

you can get away with things more easily!

Developer log #3. I talk about the changes made to the level layout due to our findings after creating a block level and realizing the changes which needed to be made to create a more believable level.

Furthermore, I talk about my experience programming in UE4 using C++ for the first time.
