The CL215 is very problematic with the CL600. Get on a benz forum and ask about it. You'll probably have a lot of people warn you to stay away from one that has 150k. If you're getting it to have beat on and have fun with, it might be worth it. I wouldn't buy it if I had to depend on it.

The 150k is the only reason I don't have it yet

Would be a project car, how well do they handle boost?

The car is over 4k pounds. It's underpowered for that much weight so they are by no means fast. I doubt you'll find too many of the M137 engines that have been turbo so you may have a hard time finding out how well they hold boost. Being a Mercedes there will be few tuning companies out there as well, you'll probably be paying quite a bit for custom fabrication and tuning for that vehicle. If you can I'm sure it'll be one hell of a fun car, but you'll have a hard and expensive road ahead of you.

It's really not a great deal Imo. Blue book them and do a search for a grand or so more you can get one with like 75-80k

the w215 cl was a dream of mine when i was younger. I had a 2006 cl55 and loved it but the maintenance is insane and they are prone to some crazy expensive "must replace" parts if you want to drive with peace of mind.

the ABC pump alone if it dies will run you a good 3-4k to replace. be very careful with this car.
