My problem is that he knew how to disable Aizen's ability and he knew that Aizen would be invincible once he merged with the hogyoku, why the fuck would he wait until after the merge to try and kill him? Surely there must have been at least one other opportunity during the however many fucking years of following him around to grab his sword once. I liked him more as a bad guy tbh, his twisted smile and cold nature was more appealing than the stupidly vengeful scrub that died.
@OP - I don't know if it'll ever be finished. There's been fuck all for news saying one way or the other, they've got plenty of money and a big enough base to make it work, but maybe because of the anticlimactic ending to the manga, they just said fuck it.
