I have one set of speakers, a Nintendo Switch and my PC.

I'd like to be able to watch youtube/twitch while playing the switch and have the audio from both the PC and Switch come out of the speakers at the same time.

Is there a way to do this through plugging the Switch into my computer somehow? Ideally I'd like to be able to do it without having to buy some kinda adapter/switch but if necessary I'd be down to buy one

It's possible, would need some software for it though as to what I'm not sure.
As for hardware short of some adapters I don't think you'd need anything extra.

Just have the Switch audio out to the computer, then enable the monitoring feature so you hear that sound as well. Might be a small amount of input lag from that.

Not if you use ASIO or WASAPI, Gives you like 1ms input lag.

Or just run a Y split cable to the speakers.

what mobo do you have?
you might be able to just plug in your switch sound out to a line in port on pc and have both controlled in the sound control panel hopefully no interference

those splitter look to be turning sound into 4 pole/conductor outs which includes mic

I have a gigabyte z370 aorus ultra gaming 7..

So I just plugged the switch into the mic in port on the back of the pc, was able to set it to line in then checked "listen to this device", it works!!

Outputting both to my headphones there was this constant buzzing noise but unplugging those and plugging my speakers in, buzzing seems to be gone

/e buzzing still there on spekaers too, just had to increase volume to notice it lol

ty, using the actual line in port now. still the same though

just found the buzzing is only present when the Switch is inside its dock, what could that mean?
