Hi!

I am using a laptop with AMD Radeon R4 Graphics. I got a HDMI-connection and a VGA-connection to it and I'm trying to connecting 2 external monitors.
I started to connect the one with VGA and it works nice. It shows one external monitor and my laptop monitor. After that I added the HDMI-connected monitor and then the VGA-connected turned black like in sleepmode and the HDMI-connected worked with the laptop monitor.

If I shut down the laptop screen (close the computer) the external monitor becomes my main screen and I still can't find the second external monitor.

Is it possible to close/shut down the laptop monitor and only use the two external?

Regards

I'm guessing that laptop is limited to 2 displays. If you have it connected to an external keyboard/mouse, you can probably close the laptop to disable that screen, and cycle through the project option using windows key + p.

I mean I can't say for sure it will work, but it's something you can try. If that doesn't work, you're laptop might just only support 1 external display.

Not that I know of, you could try googling it a bit. But that's a fairly old video driver, and it really doesn't surprise me that it doesn't want more than 1 external display running.

if 2x video output im pretty sure its supported - but u need to customize the windows key + p modes first

im not 100% sure when its a laptop and amd graphics but should be the same really

go into amd graphic settings and find something like "set up multible displays" (thats what its called in nvidia)

when u find this u should be able to select and unselect all 3 displays - and each windows key + p mode can have different settup
