I haven’t bvb for years so I wonder what the rule for bo i today. From my understanding ppl tend to use a bo:er instead of “self bo”. Is this the way of doing it or is it still “self bo” that is preferred?

if you have to use same level bo then jse the exact same weapon damage and gear use same everything and put some fuckinng skill in the duel instead of having sone douche with a 194 +2 bh saying nah bra use self bo with your 170 bh

In the past people were unhappy with a BOer, because a lower level barb (96 or less?) could not max iron skin and shout at the same time, so one could max shout and get max lvl shout from separate barb.
This was painful for those who had 97+ (I think, too lazy to check), because their botted barbs could have max Shout and max Iron skin.

With a separate BOer the level difference gets partially removed (still the +1 level barb is like 1,3% hidden block mechanic - here again Im too lazy to check actual number).

But since game is dead and everyone knows that all 99 were botted, people dont give a crap any more and allow BO slaves.

Loading a BO barb is certainly the best way to make your barb very strong vs empty duel games.

I’d be alrdy surprised if you manage to ww smthing else than mobs.

Didnt answer my question, just stated well-known fact.. but i assume using bvb chars own bo is prefered. Actually i’ve already duelled some on sc so its not totally dead

Yeah sorry, I meant it would be up to both duellers to prebo or not, using a bo barb or not. My point is there is no « meta » anymore. But one thing for sure is that no many ppls still have a loader so I guess selfboing is the « meta ». I always have BvB’d selfboing, and in all bvb tours I’ve done it was same selfboing only.
