I just built a new pc

When i start it

My monitor display nothing

The fans are running
The leds on the motherboard indicate me everything is working
Everything is plug right

What could be the problem?


What im thinking of doing is buying a cable to plug the monitor straight to the motherboard and hopefully it just need the driver or what ever

did u put power cables from the psu into the gpu?

try reinstalling the gpu

try different hdmi cable/monitor

I think i figured it out

My motherboard is a msi 370

It does support intel 9th gen but it need a bios update

And i cant get the bios update if i cant even start my computer

...thats my theory

I Brought it at my local nerd store and they will do the bios update for 25$


If that doesnt work
Im gonna cry

yea im 99% sure that will fix the problem.. same thing happend to my friend, and after he updated bios it worked perfect

so dont cry yet

Nerd store called back
Bios updated
Seem to work fine

I will see that tomorrow morning
