That will work. It's still likely more power than you need, but not as much as the 580, and it saves you about $180NZ over the 580.

Yep. excited to get building when I get all the stuff in ~~4h

I wouldn't even open the thermal paste tbh, use whats on the stock cooler it'll be fine.
Also in order for your wrist strap to work it needs to be plugged into something actually grounded.

Mounted RAM, CPU & CPU fan to motherboard. Mounted the motherboard and power supply to the tower. Will finish tomorrow, I can see that dealing with the cables shall be fun.

Take the other side panel off the case, and route cables behind the motherboard backplate as much as possible. It will improve air flow in the case dramatically.

Not really.
I mean it's def aesthetically pleasing but temp gains won't matter

Thanks to everyone for their help. I finished the build earlier today and it started perfectly first try. Everything working.

(photos with case sides removed). Lol @ cables on rear of case.

This was my first PC build, it took around 15 hours including trying to work out how to do the assembly as I went along. Enjoyed it anyway and would be a lot quicker next time. I know pros do it in like 1.5h lol.
