To those asking, NO, there's no chance Kyrie Irving would sign an extension now to make acquiring Anthony Davis easier for the #Celtics. He'd be leaving tens of millions of dollars on the table by not waiting until the summer.

If the Pelicans move him now, only teams I can see with offers would be

Nuggets (makes no sense)
Raptors with Siakam/OG + whatever. Don't see the Pelicans trading him for such
Blazers could offer a package around CJ/Nurk, but Pelicans would just lose CJ after the following season
Bucks can offer Middleton+Maker+whatever, but he also is going to decline his player option and become a FA

Only team that can make it happen right now imo is the Lakers....Ball, Ingram, Kuzma and useless 1st/Josh Hart
That would end the Lakers this year though

Best case is to wait for Celtics next year, and choose some of our 5x 1sts + player package :thumbsup:

Pretty obvious where he will end up, Pelicans GM was at Lakers office last month, AD agent is LBJs, Everything is adding up, lets just wait and see how much Lakers give up to get AD.

Hope we keep Kuz

send Ball, Ingram, Hart, and Zubac/chandler/McGee, 1 of the 3 centers

I would love to keep Zubac but hes a free agent next year and i doubt we can keep him

Celts can’t do shit this season. Plus Kyrie is leaving after this season. Plenty of teams will make decent offers and NO front office is bad. It sounds like AD is forcing the trade and wants out before the deadline
