When you start having success elsewhere, you do the detour:

dont do grief in 2-handed weapons, the shield slot is too good to lose.

This is where I'm at. I like the LK setup. Still looking for a 4oc Chu-ko-nu to make that harmony.

I really like shapeshifters. Only started doing them a few seasons ago...maybe it's years that slip away But this titan build would benefit from a large weapon and isn't there some speed bonus built in for two-handed weapons?
I've been planning to use a shield with lawbringer and then on decrepify, switching to bigboy greif...I think the repairs on this silveraxe will be a pain though.

I find it hard to decide. Luckily, I don't have Lo yet A good big grief axe would be in a champion axe. They are tough to find and faster: between 8 and 7 frames depending on grief roll.
The Silver-edged grief would be between 11 and 9 frames per attack--not great.
