We literally have thousands of members. This IS a trading forum- we have an official website(d2jsp)
Why the fuck not right?
Here is what we need:
A consensus on what patch we would be playing (Probably done by a poll)
A consensus on how it will be managed- AKA, will it be player voted or will we elect developers to make changes as they see fit.
A consensus on where the server location should be NA / EU / CA
A consensus of how forum gold will affect the game

What does this mean for the game when it is integrated with d2jsp-
What we could do is help alleviate the inflation of FG with this server- donations could be made via FG to a server jsp account
For example JSP could make the account "Classic2Jsp" and be an active account only accessible by Kevin or njaguar
These accounts would hold forum gold and have an activity budget based on Forum Gold Donations
Say for example if it costs $200/month for servers- the players would donate twice that amount in forum gold(13k forum gold) so that there is always a net loss and net incentive to keep the server up and running.
From those forum gold donations the player could be given WoWPoints or whatever you want to call them and could receive title benefits custom added in-game, aswell as minor things like queue skipping and tickets for in-game giveaway drawings each month.
We could then have a direct Forum Gold to Gold conversion traded to an NPC in-game and directed to your account.
Say 1 Gold is worth 0.03fg, you could sell this forum gold to an npc in-game, but you can NOT buy gold from that NPC- This promotes removal of currency and player interaction only.
You would go to the npc- select an option(You get better deals the more you sell at once) and input your JSP name as confirmation. The NPC takes a snapshot save of before you trade balance, gives you a code that says your previous balance on that character- then after you trade you get an after code. This code will then be added to the Classic2Jsp's logs to show a before and after transaction with a confirmation by server. If you do not receive your forum gold you could then show your logs and a ticket can be submitted and checked easily. This takes care of the 'wtf didnt get my fg' problem out of the way and can be trialed.
