They give you 1 set to play each season. Rares are useless and the only legendaries that matter are the primal or ancient ones or whatever. 99% of people just run whatever approved set.

They also make legendaries and sets rain from the sky so they're literally unimportant and useless. Game is shit.

legendary drops like rain but still it's hard to get the combination of stats you need.
99% of people just run whatever approved set is just heritage with d2: everyone with the same builds with lesser adjustment.
don't talk about rare coz the rare stats you want are always the same, you just need a good combination (i.e. right the same as for legendary/set on d3, it only change the name )

Multiple builds are not available. It's literally the main complaint of Diablo 3 for the simpletons that still play.

Diablo 2 has real itemization, so does PoE. Diablo 3 doesn't have anything remotely close to those two games. One being nearly 20 years old and the other is a free indie game.

On console seasons you can literally reroll in cube endlessly to get full primal ancient gear....the game can easily be rolled back. You need to have the patience/time/anal nature to do it (which I don't have). Maybe I'm wrong that an impale shadow can gr 150 solo on seasons console but when I'm gr 89 without fully gemmed gear and only primal Karlei and holy point shot....sure seemed that way to me. Either way solid build for gr solo if you're into grinding.
