If you wanna mf items at classic : dont use a single MF% on any item and do the glitch drop Q, u'll find way more good rares than mfing. And at classic, as europe said, Rares > uniques, so best way is his way..

uhm random add....

so....

from my experience this is what I have noticed

when you are going for virgin quest drops

if you have on
0 Magic find
0 Gold find

when you kill the boss most of the time they are all going to be rares

if you put on magic find I think they will still be rares but lots of the time its going to be unique and set clumped in their with them instead... which would be very bad ^^

if you have any gold find on often you will be missing an item or 2 sometimes even 3... with piles of gold

That's true for LoD, but not for Classic.

Nightmare Andariel is level 37 which is lower than the minimum (39) to drop a Ring that could identify as The Stone of Jordan Ring. A Ring from her is either Nagelring Ring or Manald Heal Ring.

Expansion
Nightmare Andariel is level 49.
