Every few minutes my taskbar will flash and my cursor will then be able to leave the game until i alt tab out and back in. It's getting quite frustrating and I don't know what's causing it or how to fix it. Has anyone else had this problem?

On the last "flicker" I noticed an icon appeared on my taskbar and disappeared immediately. I couldnt tell what the icon was. Looked like just a white square.

What game?
Some games have in game options for this, otherwise you can use third party apps for it.
Also, it could be a windows process that's popping up then disappearing right away.

When you're in the game that is giving you issues, press ALT + ENTER.

This will maximize the game, hope it works.
