i started and so far its been fine. lots of people offering to help. but i still havent made it out of normal.
so i cannot speak on high levels.

Way better than softcore

It’s fun, but there is a huge lack of games on normal and nightmare which make core better imo

mostly single/private games for me.
join some baal runs from time to time, and sometimes a high lvl pker joins a normal baal run and host everyone. just like that. but that is the nature of HC.

overall it is fine. I would recommend you have a friend to play with.

if you are still < lvl 50 or still have got no good gear at all, keep farming normal meph/baal runs. until you ready for NM.
it is easy. shouldn't take too long.
NM andy is actually a very good place to farm for decent gear, as long as you ready for her.

I’m on solo act 2 nm. Level 46 as of now. Not too difficult. Fade helps a lot. Merc is very squishy tho. Dies in all fights

lvl 46 should be enough to farm nm andy.
I always start the ladder with a sorc for nm farming.
for merc, get him some resists, and life leech would be nice. may take a while to get a gaze but duriel shell drops more often, at least seems to me.
I am guessing you playing pure without any trading. otherwise it is easy to buy a gaze.
