Guess its some sort of a "temp ban"?
Any way to fix this?

If i create a game it tells me im in waitiiiiing game 17xxxx

As far as I know that's a new kind of "temp ban" and the only way to get rid of it is to wait it out.

Is there a known timeframe?

Temp ban yes. I had it too.
The number is the amout of seconds you have to wait.
do the math and you know how many hours/days.

I had only 3 hours but I know people who had 3 days

3 weeks is not uncommon either.

The temp ban is tagged to the cd key and account.

This means, the only way around this is to use a new cdkey and a new account.

If you use a new cdkey to try and access a tagged account, the tag is passed onto the new cdkey.

If you use your tagged cdkey to create a new account, the new account will be tagged.

This new “temp ban” of waiting in line (correctly explained as each position in line representing one second) makes the old method of changing your mac address or IP ineffective.

Continuing to attempt to create and join games will extend the length of the ban if it is flooded or abused.

It’s a good time to try out single player.

I just had this sort of temp ban one time this lad because of switching mules too fast, lesson learned
