Finely mince the garlic and start the pan on a low heat with minced garlic and a good bit of butter, get the butter melted and garlic will turn nice and soft then up the pan heat to sear the steak evenly, baste the steak with a spoon with the garlic butter mixture through the cooking process, i also like to add fresh baby bellas when i start the garlic process and pull it all out together, shit is delicious.
