Javazons in pvp are not so great, are asy to resist/sorb, just are ok to kill people that is not prepared to resist some cs just in the entrance of town. Try to catch a 125 fcr nec with a 99 fcr javazon...
catching a nec isn't really the hard part. You can just unsummon lock him during a chainlock and let him get a fair distance and then stomp again and look for the immediate poke. As long as you mix in some throw/unsummon delays even a 48% fcr zon can catch a 105% fcr sorc. The issue there is that even if you can get on top of them, a javazon has a melee interruptible attack and dodge/evade/avoid completely lock you up if you stat them. just a clay golem on its own can interrupt you and the nec can point blank range spear you and win if you're d/a/e, if you're not, block and/or slow and maybe fhr get in the way even without bone walls / decrep involved.
you
can get on top of people and poke them unless you're dueling a build that literally never stops teleporting (TS sorc) or that passively interrupts you (assassin's shadow master mind blast) or someone just so incredibly defensive to the point of borderline l8zing that they make it a conscious point of always teleporting 3 screens away any time they think you've namelocked them at any point to reset the lock. And honestly most good duelers will fall into the latter category against a zon scaring them with CS blowouts if they're not sorbing them
but again, once you're on top of them, they might just kill you more easily than you kill them. there are lots of times dueling on a damach zon where I could pretty reasonably catch a necro with an unsummonlock stomp in a duel, but it doesn't matter because he's staying near bone spirit trains or sorbing CS or just aggressive enough to lock me up if I tried it. Maybe I could get on top of him, but I'd just die in the attempt.
and none of that is applicable to a non-teleporting zon, aka an ear dispenser
