So I was just starting to look into it, but maybe there's more professional thoughts on here.

My side monitor went out, but it's time to upgrade my gaming pc too anyways, its long overdue.
I'm going to make my current main monitor my 2nd monitor as the specs were :
Viewable Image Size: 27"
Aspect Ratio: 16:9.
Panel: LED Backlit - TFT-LCD Panel.
Brightness: 300 cd/m2.
Contrast Ratio: 20,000,000:1.
Response Time: 2ms.
View Angle: 170 degrees horizontal, 170 degrees vertical.
Optimum Resolution: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz.

I was told that a good place to start is to find something in the 1ms response time and 144hz. Any leads on products fitting that criteria and $150-$300?
If there's more I should be looking into let me know. I don't play the most intensive games (fortnite, league of legends, overwatch, old school runescape, etc)
More or less a personal upgrade.

Benq safe bet

Asus monitor actually looks better in the video I seen about it just now.. but the settings can probably be changed contrast/brightness, etc.

do u have a place u can go near u to see what they're like?

For those games i think i would consider a 1440p IPS display, but I use that benQ myself and its very good..

if u dont know benQ, its the preferred monitor by most esports players, one of the first to make high hz displays..
pretty much professional grade monitors, very solid quality and they have a bunch of display settings u dont see on other monitors..

iirc that asus vg is old - just look at that 3D print on the stand

the XL2411 is petty old aswell, but the P is the updated version with displayport

what's the response time? never had a 1ms monitor, and so far its hard to find anything 1ms on anything other than 24" or lower

without jacking up the price incredibly at least

Dell makes sick monitors. Their color/picture quality destroys other monitors. With the games you play, i'd also go for Dell IPS. I wouldn't get a tn panel 144/1ms over them.
